Nia Palooza a weekend packed full of movement in celebration of your body. It is guaranteed to rejuvenate and energize you. We invite you to explore your body and enhance balance in your life’s dance through the elements of the Nia Technique.
Nia is the art of movement the body’s way. Nia is a cardio-dance workout, a movement practice, and lifestyle based on the intelligent design of the body.
We believe every person can discover, explore, unleash, and enhance their individual potential to live a healthy and meaningful life by engaging their senses and listening to their bodies.
Nia tones your mind and tunes your body. Each workout brings mindfulness to your dance movement experience leaving you energized, mentally clear, and emotionally balanced.
Nia cardio-dance workouts combine 52 simple moves with dance arts, martial arts, and healing arts to get you fit – body, mind, emotion, and spirit. Nia is practiced barefoot, non-impact, and adaptable to individual needs and abilities.
Special guest Nia First Degree Black Belt & Trainer, Winalee Zeeb, will help you to lighten up, relax and enjoy Nia classes and playshops all weekend long.
Oh the after-party! It takes on a life of it’s own…never to be duplicated (thank goodness). This gathering has become part of the Nia Palooza experience. And with our new tag line “Freedom to be Me”… what a better extension of the days activities? We can’t think of one to be honest.
So…What’s with the Red Bra you ask?
A few years ago a particular red bra became this hot item to be worn over what one was already wearing. It got some attention and we all shared some great laughs.
This year we thought perhaps we could put this fun to a good cause. So, we have decided to do a little fundraiser. We would love and appreciate bra donations! New bras will be collected, so we can donate them (excluding THE red bra of course) to a local women’s shelter. Buying a new bra is not often in their budget….and ladies….we all know how a new bra makes us feel….right?
So, let’s do this. Bring a new bra or two and toss them into the red bin in by the registration. We’ll make sure they are delivered with love & kindness from the dancing community.
